Double Snowday > Double Rainbow

Boots: Life Stride via Famous Footwear
Jacket: Kohl's
Dress: Express
Tights: Hue

This is from yesterdays, I thought I would show it today because it seems like I might have a double snowday on the horizon, which, I am absolutely thrilled about. Double snowdays are things of myth, a wonder to those who are still in school, a magical occurrence that happens only a few times. So you may ask I choose to enjoy the two extra days off? The best way I know how, to do nothing. Watch movies, drink hot chocolate, enjoy nice big breakfasts and just watch as the snow will eventually come close to covering the mail box.

Today I felt really good about my outfit. Lately I have been in a kinda slump, I don't know if it's because I want these adorable brown booties (which I think will make my wardrobe complete), or that fact its down right frigid and gloomy this winter or it could be I've yet to find that perfect pair of black skinny jeans I crave, but that's all besides the point since today I finally beat my slump. However, tomorrow is a whole other matter lol.

Ya Wanna be Bombshell

I thought I would do a quick post on my new favorite perfume of the moment. The product description reads as follows:
Victoria's Secret Bombshell Perfume. Fruity, aromatic and floral fragrance contains notes of purple passion fruit, Shangri-la peony and vanilla orchid. For true, always sexy "bombshells” – the women with an attitude that require attention.
I love the scent and the bottle is just too damn cute lol

Oh, just another Manic Monday, so manic in fact I had four, yes count them, four tests today. My brain is mush, but luckily I have no school tomorrow (or Wednesday for that matter) because we have regents days and by some luck I have no tests those days. However, don't be jealous of me just yet, I have to study for my Physics Midterm for Thursday and Friday and my AP Government Test thats Thursday and work on my Mythology Project due Thursday. So, yeah lol. Wish me luck.

Side note:  Does anyone else think this shirt reminds them of a marching band jacket?

Button Bonanza

Boots: Aldo
Sweater: Target
(very worn) Belt: Aero
Jeggings: Forever 21

I was going to photograph me in this outfit when I got home, however, after going to Target, AC Moore,  Home Goods Store, Famous Footwear, Bath and Body Works and the Bank my feet were killing me. When I got home I just ripped off my boots and completely left any hopes behind of me posing for pictures behind me.

On top of all my errands today (and completely ignoring my academic responsibilities to the last minute) I decided to embellish two items in my closet that were getting next to no wear time. I went into our sewing box and pulled out a crap load of random buttons from the bottom and this is what I came up with:

White Swing Cardigan: Kohls
T-shirt: Charlotte Russe

I like the T-shirt a lot better, but I think both were an improvement.

Black is the new Black

Boots: Journeys
Leggings and Jacket: Kohls
Skirt: Charlotte Russe
Belt and ring: Gifted
Black Long Sleeve V-Neck (which you can't really see lol): Ralph Lauren

Hello there, you may be wondering where I was monday and tuesday, but thanks to Martin Luther King Jr and a little bit of ice I had two days off to lounge around in my pjs. If that isn't pure bliss, I am not sure what is.
On a side note I would like to confess something, this something is fashion related people. Cue corny theme music, its Fashion Confession Time! What shall I confess today? My obsession with black maybe. Now I am fully aware many people gravitate to black clothing, it's slimming and has a cool New York attitude, but looking at my closet (which I am not ashamed to admit, is color coordinated) the black (and grey) section of my closet takes up a pretty significant section. Most my going out tops are black, hell, a lot of my regular tops are black, and do not even get me started on my dresses. I would say I am a pretty upbeat person, and I do have some bright fun colors in my closet however the back of my closet is like a cloud of black, but I will never change. When I see that perfect dress and there's like 3 color choices and if black is one of them, do you want to guess which one I would choose. Yeah, the black one.
